Building Envelope Technologies, Inc., consulted for the historical adaptive reuse project at 15 Everett Street in Hyde Park. Pryde, New England’s first LGBTQ-friendly affordable senior housing complex, that was formally known as the historic William Barton Rogers School.
The building is an early 20th Century masonry mass wall and steel framed structure with both steep and low slope roof system characteristics, and contains 74 units of studio, 1-bedroom, and 2-bedroom units.
BET visited the site to analyze the existing conditions, as well as all available information, provided reporting thereof, and subsequently assisted in the design and preparation of construction documents. BET also assisted in the administration of the contract for construction.
