Design Development
As projects progress into design development, BET provides detailed technical refinement of building envelope systems. We conduct Basis of Design reviews to confirm that performance criteria are clearly articulated and supported by appropriate detailing and material selection.

We develop detailed drawings of envelope components and critical connections, with careful attention to thermal continuity, air barrier transitions, and moisture management.

Advanced analysis tools, including WUFI and Flixo, are utilized where necessary to evaluate heat and moisture transfer within assemblies. Energy code consulting services are integrated into the design process to maintain compliance while supporting performance objectives. We also provide value engineering support and structural engineering coordination to ensure that proposed solutions meet both technical and financial parameters.
Construction Documents

Bidding Phase Services
During bidding, BET remains actively involved to support a smooth procurement process. We assist with contractor solicitation, conduct pre-bid meetings to clarify scope and expectations, and prepare addenda as required. Our team participates in bid openings and supports the bid review and de-scoping process to ensure proposals align with project requirements. We also provide technical support through contract award to maintain continuity from design through construction.
