The Ragon Institute

In 2021, Building Envelope Technologies, Inc., was commissioned to provide services for a new construction project for the Ragon Institute. The 235,000 square foot medical research laboratory, located on Main Street in Cambridge, had been an ongoing project for us for 3 years, and consists of 6 levels, with an additional 2 levels of below grade parking. With a unique frame of concrete and steel, it includes both low and steep slope roof system characteristics, and unique architectural features.
BET provided building enclosure commissioning services including design phase, off-site mockup testing, construction administration, fenestration testing, and post-construction evaluations. The project was completed in 2024.
