This project involved the construction of a state-of-the-art academic building, replacing existing dormitories on the site. The structure seamlessly integrates conventional steel and concrete composite framing, ensuring both durability and functionality. The building boasts a unique design, featuring a combination of steep and low slope roof systems to meet diverse architectural specifications. Slate tile wall panel systems add a touch of sophistication, while aluminum-framed fenestration enhances natural light and provides a modern visual appeal. Our team at BET played a crucial role in bringing this project to fruition. Collaboration with Wilson and the building team, we provided comprehensive support throughout the construction process, focusing on the building enclosure. Our services included reviewing existing documents and construction plans, assisting in contract buyouts, thoroughly reviewing submittal materials for quality and compliance, and maintaining rigorous quality control assurance during every phase of construction.
