BET worked with ARCADIS on this project as the Building Envelope Consultant. The Smith Campus Center serves the general populous of Harvard University as a place to study, socialize and engage in recreation. The project involved a 4 phase program which included repairs to the facade and construction of an interior, indoor terrarium. BET provided a review of the construction documents, construction administration services and field fenestration testing. Particular attention was directed for the new curtain wall systems which included unitized constructions fabricated in Europe. The building remained open and occupied throughout the construction periods. Construction completed in 2019.
