1440 Beacon Street

BET was retained by Samuel and Associates to perform an exterior building envelope condition survey of this 10-story apartment building on Beacon Street. The survey included a review of the existing roofing, exterior walls, windows, and parking garage waterproofing conditions. Following the survey, BET was engaged by the ownership to provide a facade certificate for the building as required by the Town of Brookline. Extensive concrete spalls were identified across the rear facade of the building, which required repair. BET designed and oversaw the repair effort by the Contractor, Statewide RM, and then issued the facade certificate after the repairs were completed. BET also consulted on addressing a number of leaks at the building, and with the design of the upcoming roof replacement project.
