The Brynx (201-221 S. Huntington Ave.)

BET was engaged by the developer, Samuels Real Estate, to provide enclosure design assistance to the architectural team and QA/QC services during construction for the redevelopment of the Goddard House building located at 201-221 Huntington Ave. in Jamaica Plain, MA. The project included the restoration of the existing 5-story building and the construction of a new addition, to contain a total of 149 residential apartments. BET provided design assistance and performed site inspections for the masonry facade restoration work, concrete foundation repairs and waterproofing, membrane roof replacement and slate roof restoration, the air and weather barrier assembly, and the window replacement. BET also performed field testing of the installed windows for air and water infiltration. The project was completed in 2019.
