David is a registered professional engineer with over 15 years of experience in the field of building envelope technology. He has extensive experience with building envelope systems and components, and he routinely performs inspections of properties to establish existing conditions, investigate known problems, formulate recommendations, and design repair solutions for building owners and property managers.

David has designed and overseen building envelope repairs for dozens of properties in the greater Boston area. He has extensive knowledge of building codes, material properties, and best construction practices. David has particular expertise in roofing systems, flashing details, brick masonry cavity wall systems, and forensic leak investigation and watertesting.

Before joining BET, David was a senior project manager at Noblin & Associates, a consulting engineering firm that specialized in building envelope repairs for condominium association properties. David has served as an expert witness in several construction defect litigations cases, and has been a featured speaker at industry seminars focused on construction and building maintenance issues.
